Fernley Optometry Services
Dr. Kristina Rhodes was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. Her family found out she needed glasses to see distance, when she struggled during a vision screening in the first grade. She later had Lasik corrective surgery. She graduated from McQueen High School, in Reno and participated in Marching Band, Swim Team and Student Council. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree at University of Nevada Reno and her Doctorate at InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico in 2010. Puerto Rico is a United States Common Wealth, and at the time was the only accredited bilingual program. She started working in the Fernley community in the winter of 2010. In 2015, and with a great support team, she decided to open her own practice.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time at Lake Tahoe, swimming, biking and she is having fun learning to golf.

We have an amazing optical department that can repair old glasses and get you set up with a new pair of glasses, sunglasses, or even contact lenses! Our office is the only place in our area that has an optical lab. We keep a wide range of prescription lenses in stock. Some of our patients can leave their eye exam with their new glasses.
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. In addition we have evening appointments available on request.
